Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (2011)
Music: Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy
1. Sooraj Ki Baahon Mein --------------------- 7/10
A soft and upbeat song by the Cerejos which also features Loy Mendonsa lending his voice. It saunters along with it's own pace, but it's refreshingly new beats is what is the best about the song. And it is intelligently short, avoiding dragging itself on.
2. Khaabon Ke Parindey ------------------------- 7/10
A silent and very Ye Tumhari Meri Baatein from Rock On!! -esque song. It just has enough variations to keep us engaged. It borders along being very bland, but the constantly changing musicals compliment Alyssa Mendonsa's husky voice, and Mohit Chauhan joining the party midway is a much welcome fervor to this song.
Brownie point:
Final verdict: Overall, gets a 6/10. The tracks, Dil Dhadakne Do carries a lot of promise, but fizzles out too soon; Ik Junoon (Paint It Red) is more about the background music instead of the song itself and the catchy portion of the song is unintelligible, which is a big setback and disappointment for this track. None of the songs in the album are strong enough to blow us away, they are not too bad either. However, this album gets the 'sacred cows make the best beef' treatment, as we have come to expect a lot from Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, that their repetitiveness or the lack of creativity lately is both concerning and frustrating.

Me Mamu & 7 (2011)
Music: Chandar-Vishar-Sanjay
The only hope for this album is from Billo Rani, that might do well somewhere. It is nowhere close to the star power of Sheila Ki Jawani or Munni and the likes. Otherwise, the songs are mostly good for dhabas and public transport buses: Sab Kya Jaane leading this category.

Men Will Be Men (2011)
Music: Harpreet, Advait Nemlekar
This album has just three tracks, and not much effort has been put in this short album. This album has an even worse fate than Me Mamu & 7, in respect that it neither meets the mainstream musical standards nor it is cheesy enough. Had Harshit Saxena not sung in Murder 2, he would have gone totally unnoticed in Sala Ye Kal.
Too bad a week, musically.

Brownie point:
- Der Lagi Lekin - A typical, super-typical Shankar Mahadevan track. This is a very simple and unassuming track. Shankar Mahadevan's energy and melody is what holds the audience back from seeking to the next track. A tad too slow and a tad too long. Decent and boring.
